UBC Student Dental Plan
Accepting the UBC Student Dental Plan, right on campus
Dentist at Lelem Village is a full-service dental clinic on the UBC Vancouver campus, at 2320 Acadia Road #110 in Lelem Village, next to Urban Fare. We accept the UBC Student Dental Plan (AMS for undergraduates, GSS for graduate students), most major dental insurance, and the Canadian Dental Care Plan. You can walk over between classes instead of heading downtown and losing half a day to a cleaning.

AMS and GSS student plan coverage
Most UBC students are covered by the AMS/GSS Health and Dental Plan, which includes dental benefits for routine care such as exams, cleanings and fillings. Coverage levels and annual maximums are set by the plan itself, not by our office.
Bring your student card and your plan details to your first visit. Our front desk will go through what your plan covers before any treatment starts, so you know what to expect on the bill.
What students come in for most

- Wisdom tooth assessments and extractions
- Emergency care for a broken tooth or sudden pain
- Night guards for grinding, which tends to get worse around exams
- Teeth whitening and cosmetic consultations

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan. If you are a Canadian resident without private dental insurance and your household income falls under the CDCP threshold, you may qualify for federal coverage toward your dental care.

Why an on-campus clinic is easier
Getting to a dental appointment off campus usually means a bus each way and most of an afternoon gone. We are a short walk from the main academic buildings, so a cleaning can fit between classes.
It also makes follow-up care realistic. If you need a filling finished or a crown fitted, coming back is a ten minute walk rather than another trip across the city.
Hours, parking and getting here
We are at 2320 Acadia Road #110, in Lelem Village next to Urban Fare, on the UBC Vancouver campus. There is free underground parking for patients, and a bus stop on University Boulevard a short walk away.
Monday and Tuesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The later Wednesday hours are there for students who are in class during the day.
